Welcome to Viking School’s Website!
On our website you will find a variety of resources that will provide you with information about our school: supply lists, school handbook, bell schedule and many others. In addition our website features an event calendar. You can add this calendar to your own iCal or Google calendar to stay current on events and activities happening at Viking School. The calendar displays which days Kindergarten students attend and the “day” of the four day schedule rotation (Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4).
Viking School is a K-12 school located in Viking, Alberta. We serve a population of approximately 250 students. We offer standard Elementary School programming including core courses along with Art, Physical Education, and French (Gr 4-6). Supplementary courses offered at the Junior High level include Construction, Foods, Art, Mentorship, Guitar, Physical Education, and French. At the Senior High level, in addition to standard core courses we offer Construction, Art, Physical Education, and French. We also offer expanded choice through Battle River Online and Off Campus (Work Experience, RAP, and Green Certificate) programs.

Our priorities are to focus on numeracy and literacy at the elementary level and to offer vibrant programming that meets the needs of our student and parent community at the junior and senior high levels.
